Hi, I’m David, a UK based documentary filmmaker and facilitator with practical experience of working in COVID-safe ways.

I am a Multimedia Officer at National Deaf Children’s Society

I have worked with national and international charities, commercial companies and individuals to tell impactful stories. I am passionate about using my creativity to facilitate and build empathy. My work focuses on understanding and celebrating difference by listening to enable.

I have observational shooting and camera assisting experience (Sony Fs5 and Fs7) in a broadcast TV, commercial, charity and community context. 

I am an owner and operator of a Sony Fs7 broadcast quality camera with my own professional audio recording equipment and lights to ensure the highest possible technical standards.

I have a masters degree in documentary filmmaking from UAL and am an Adobe Certified Associate in Premiere Pro (video editing software). I have an in depth knowledge of Adobe Audition (audio), Illustrator (graphics), InDesign (document design) and Photoshop (image manipulation) and good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.

I also have a BA in Design from Goldsmiths University of London with eight years of graphic design experience.

I have extensive experience of working in COVID- safe ways, keeping up to date with current guidance and provide Public Liability insurance for all jobs as standard.

I have a full and clean drivers license and I am set up to work remotely.
